Sarah Sleeps Around: Rosewood Baha Mar
Rosewood Baha Mar is the newest of the trio of resorts in Nassau’s mammoth Baha Mar hotel complex.
And it is, by far, Baha Mar's most luxurious hotel, offering high-end perks (butlers and marble bathrooms among them) in a sophisticated yet relaxed beachfront environment. The atmosphere is one of refined relaxation, and once you're within the hushed confines of the 12-storey high-rise, it's easy to forget that the Baha Mar's 40 buzzy restaurants and bars, the Caribbean's largest casino, and a mall’s worth of designer boutiques lie just beyond.
But what impressed me most was RBM's keenly defined sense of place. From straw-embellished room number plaques (the Bahamas is famous for its straw work) to bowls of local sweets in public areas to "bush teas" served in the afternoons, the resort never lets you forget that you're in the Bahamas.

And that's a VERY good thing!
