Barbuda Is Back!

It took less than three hours for me to fall in love with Barbuda – the 60-square-mile little sister of Antigua, 30 miles north. 

Planted on one of its famous pink-sand beaches, marveling at the tiny crushed shells that comprise it as I sift them through my hands, it felt like my little secret. To find a place that lives up to its hype – in this case, the beauty of its beaches and the off-the-grid charm of its location – is no small thing. And Barbuda exceeded my expectations, its appeal encapsulated in this pinch-me moment on a completely deserted strand.
